![]() He is starting out simple, but this opens up a new realm of possibilities of what can be produced on his machines. One of the driving factors in getting CAM for the Swiss machines was the ability to engrave the company's name on their parts. This was fine for basic parts but was a serious limiting factor when it came to more advanced operations. The customer was hand programming his Swiss machines.Scott Neil was able to walk the prospect through a 5 axis part that was cut on the machine, further proving the level of support and software functionality of SolidCAM.SolidCAM was able to provide him with a more robust 5 axis product that allowed him full control over the tool path and index alignment. ![]() The customer spent many hours with Autodesk support and looked on web forums, with no real solution on how to fix the issue.
