![]() Without being able to fix the wrench I'm finding the wrench doesn't last long enough to make focusing on wrenching & sellingĬan I find enough forged steel to make a bicycle? The other mats have been easy to get. Will I focus on Barter and better rewards? Only if I find a wrench AND the trader has steel to sell. I pretty much treat the Trader as an RNG decision. If I'm lucky enough to find a wrench early on and the trader has steel I can buy to fix the wrench then it's happy times. If the trader has forged steel to sell, I usually prioritize doing the quests for the dukes. I've played about a dozen games so far up to day 7 and I'm maybe 50/50 on being able to build a bike before day 7 and without a bike I find the quests a waste of time that I'd rather spend on food & resources. If I don't find a wrench I usually have nothing to sell the 1st week. The only things I find to sell (by that I mean, things I'm willing to sell instead of horde) are canned food, extra clothing and anything I can wrench. I play 90 min days and I'm finding the quests a little far off during the first 7 days for me to manage them and get enough food/resources so I've been skipping the trader. SO the best I can guess at is that somehow, the parts of the map that we as a group had explored originally were somehow saved and everything that wasn't explored was a splice from MY generated map.Just curious about how everyone is using the traders. I had placed the Server we intended to play on in the dedicated server section however neglected to copy the files into my AppData folder. So the CAUSE of this was that I had generated a test map while messing around with some things before copying the other files into the system. I will try removing it for a bit to see if that works but I really hope it doesn't screw up the server! So the Mod is the popular Mischief Maker mod that ties into Twitch. We have access to the original files (made copies) which would set us back a bit (still not ideal either). 3) Ensure that you tick the box labelled: 'Dynamic Spawner'. Open the console, access the Debug menu with 'dm' and the Creative menu with 'cm'. We'd like to know if there is a fix aside from recreating the map/ resetting the server entirely. 2) The first thing you need to do, even with full admin control, is gain access to the trade area. The other bug is that the world has sections of floating trees. This is the case for the 2-3 traders we've found so far. They are also only issuing 1 type of quest (the buried supplies quest) that is fine for tier 1 but after tier 2 it starts having you dig IN buildings and structures. Traders were bugged in that they are open 24/7 (even during the first 7 day event). ![]() It started as a local game on one of our computers but due to wanting a mod setup that required it to be a server we migrated the save and map files over to another machine that could handle it and noticed a few issues. So to start:We started this server in A20 and it was a freshly generated world.
